Tranmere Rovers have slashed admission prices for Seniors (60+) when they play Oldham Athletic at Prenton Park on Tuesday, 6 November, kick off 7.45pm.

Seniors will pay just £5 to watch Rovers in action (usual prices apply in the Executive Lounges), with £1 from every Senior being donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The donation is part of the Club's initiative to raise funds for the 2007 regional Poppy Appeal.

Last week the appeal was launched at Prenton Park as players and staff at the Club met ex-servicemen.

In addition to the ticket donation, there will also be a ground collection at the Oldham game, while the Sea Cadet Corp Band Ellesmere Port will provide pre-match entertainment.

Tranmere Chief Executive Mick Horton said: "The Royal British Legion is the leading charity safeguarding the welfare, interests and memory of those who have served their country and I would urge Tranmere fans to be generous in their support of the Poppy Appeal.

"We are pleased to be able to offer Seniors reduced price admission of just £5 for the Oldham game and our donation of £1 from every Senior attending the game shows our commitment to such a worthy cause."

As usual, Seniors will be able to pay at the turnstiles in the Kop Stand, Johnny King Stand and Paddocks, provided they show acceptable photographic identification with proof of age. Acceptable forms of identification are valid passport, drivers licence and bus / travel pass.

As usual, all supporters wishing to sit in the Main Stand will still need to purchase tickets in advance from the Ticket Office.
