Tickets for Tranmere's pre-season friendly against Liverpool on Saturday, 12 July, kick off 3pm go on general sale on Monday, 30 June at 9.30am.

The match, which sees Rovers take on Liverpool in a friendly for the first time in 15 years, is expected to be hugely popular with football fans of all ages across Merseyside.

Juniors (aged 16 and under) who purchase a ticket for the Liverpool game will be entitled to admission to Tranmere's first home game of the season against Hartlepool United on Saturday, 16 August, kick off 3pm for ONLY £1!

To take advantage of the offer - which gives Juniors two games for just £6 - Juniors need a ticket stub from the Liverpool game - they can present it at the ticket office to buy a Hartlepool ticket for £1 or present it at the turnstiles. This offer does not apply to Juniors in the Club's executive suites.

Chief Executive Mick Horton said: "We realise that there will be some supporters at this match who have never been to Prenton Park before or have not been for some time. We want them to come back and hope the special offer for juniors will encourage them to come and support us in our first home game of the season against Hartlepool.

"We always pride ourselves on being the best value for money family club in the area and were delighted with the recent results from the Football League Supporters Survey which showed our supporters rank our ticket prices and ticket offers as the best in League One.

"We hope this offer shows our continued commitment to making football accessible for all ages."

Young Persons, Main Stand and Suite tickets must be purchased in advance. All other categories can pay cash on the turnstiles, though it is recommended supporters buy in advance to avoid disappointment.

Seniors, Young Persons and Juniors may be asked to provide photographic proof of age.

Bolton & Blackpool friendlies

Meanwhile, admission for the Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool games has been reduced.

Adult admission is just £7 with concessions (Seniors, Young Persons and Juniors) only £3 for the games against Bolton on Tuesday, 29 July, kick off 7.45pm and Blackpool on Saturday, 2 August, kick off 3.00pm.
