Tranmere v Millwall
| Tranmere v Millwall - Sat 11 Oct, £5 Admission for 17-22 Year Olds...click here for details. | |
Saturday, 11 October, kick off 3pm at Prenton Park
Tranmere Manager Ronnie Moore has his first incomplete squad in several weeks, with both Ian Goodison and Edrissa Sonko away on international duty and Craig Curran a doubt with a groin strain.
Goodison's absence could mean a place at centre back for one of Antony Kay, Ryan Shotton, Godwin Antwi or Luke Waterfall, while Chris Shuker or George O'Callaghan could come into the side in place of Sonko.
Millwall boss Kenny Jackett welcomes back striker Tresor Kandol into the squad after he missed the last three games through suspension, but Jermaine Easter remains suspended.
The Lions are currently sixth in League One having gone on a five game winning which ended last weekend with a 4-0 home defeat against MK Dons.
Saturday's match will be the 24th time the two sides have met with Tranmere having won 11 times and Millwall six. Both of last season's meetings went the way of Ronnie Moore's side, with Antony Kay heading the winner at the New Den and Shane Sherriff and Ian Moore on target less than a month later in a 2-0 win at Prenton Park.
Tranmere can be backed to win 6/5, while a 2-0 victory for Ronnie Moore's side is 17/2. Fancy a scorecast? Antony Kay scoring the first goal in a 2-1 win is 185/1. Remember, every bet you place at bet365 directly helps the Club.
