Tranmere Reserves have been drawn in a group of five teams in the Central League Cup for 2008-09.

Rovers will play Accrington Stanley, Macclesfield Town, Morecambe and Rochdale in Group Four of the competition.

The League Cup contains four groups (two groups of four and two groups of five) with each group winner going through to the semi-finals.

Shaun Garnett's side will start their campaign with a home game against Macclesfield Town. They then play away to Rochdale before hosting Accrington Stanley and finishing off with a trip to Morecambe.

The dates for the fixtures are yet to be announced.
