Club Physio Les Parry has discussed his matchday kit, racing other physios, Christmas singles and more in an interview on the Football League website.

Les, who is now in his 16th full time season at Tranmere, says: "At some point back in the dark days we had a couple of cold nights and I just happened to wear a T-shirt and shorts, probably without realising how cold it was going to be.

"But from then on it just grew to be expected and I decided to keep with it!

"I've had nights when I've been sitting on the bench and my knees have frozen. If I'd had to run on it would have been I wouldn't have been able to straighten up.

"I always used to win [the races]. But now I'm getting a bit older I'm losing more and more. I had to jump on someone's back last season just to slow them down a bit!"
