Forget England v Croatia, there's much more important football matters taking place on Wednesday night at Prenton Park when Tranmere take on Huddersfield in the Second Round of the FA Youth Cup sponsored by E.ON.

The match brings to an end Shaun Garnett's eight match run of away ties in the competition - in fact the Youth Team Coach hasn't yet had a home tie since taking up the position at the beginning of the 2004-05 season.

Rovers knocked out Grimsby in the First Round while Huddersfield defeated Hartlepool at the Galpharm Stadium. The win over Grimsby has led to a recent improvement in results, with Tranmere having won three of their last four games.

A Third Round tie at home to Birmingham City awaits the winners.
